Yep, we live in a nice area, the Illinois River Valley. Illinois would be a great place to live but we have terrible state government. Montana has a good state government, also has Yellowstone and Glacier Parks, WOW!
On Desire, read it twice and now I’m listening to the conference John gave on the book. I’m still getting a lot from it.
Oh Dani, that book may change your life! At least how you look at things... and my guess is you'll be bugging the bookstores until they get Forgotten God! I actually liked that one better than Crazy Love, so if you like this one... you have something to look forward to!
One thing I couldn't help notice was your unique work with horses. Would you be willing to say a few words (or more if you like) about it on my webpage (http://www.glory-in-nature.org/horse-photos.html)? Not only would my readers be blessed, but it would give you more exposure as well.
Thanks again for the welcome and for the glimpse of Tasmania. Take care.
hi, dani-
i think this is something God has given me to do-i perform as much as i can, and try to do as much gospel as i can, and trust Him to use it in some way! do you play?
hi, dani-
one of the girls in our church recently graduated from high school, and has been doing short term missionary work in Africa, Bolivia, and Haiti. she had a Nikon D60 slr that she bought about a year ago, but wanted to sell it, because she wanted one with video on it. it is a great camera! i was at a soccer match last night, and took lots of pictures with it, getting the "feel" of it. it is pretty easy to use, and even makes me look like i know what i'm doing! i really don't think you could go wrong with Nikon. i also have a Fuji finepix A800 that i had in Israel last year, and it takes fantastic pictures, and sells for under $100. canon also makes a great camera, and i have a 35mm. keep in touch!
Thanks for the check in. Sorry I have not been on much. I have been doing a little traveling but mostly nursing my horse back to health. Very depressing and probably feeling a little sorry for myself. I started a new study and that has really helped give me a clearer picture and direction. Decided to do a very displined study and am sharing it online at www.r4c-ridersforchrist.com if anyone wants to join in. It has really got me out of the 'blues' I was in. This injury has been a real rollercoaster ride and I am still waiting on the equine surgeon to determine if my horse's hoof will every grow back. Pretty bad injury.
Dani - you wrote over in Wild/Captivating - I have spent the last 3 days at a seminar on planning and developing a mentoring programme, it covered business plans, writing policies, as well as interviewing and screening mentors. it was amazing - I learned so much my head LOL is full. - and I was praying for you and wondering if this isn't more down your alley than what you've been doing? Would you like to plan a program, teach others?
Pat, Yes, these Agates are milestones. We haven't been camping for years. Some of these stones are from Agate Beach but most of these were found here in the San Francisco area. The Agates at Agate Beach aren't as big but just as pretty.
These are so beautiful, Gary. Makes we want to go to Agate Beach and start my own collection. I keep a small collection of pretty rocks and stones I’ve found here and there, but these are incredible. And even better are the memories that are attache…
