posting apps

Howdy,  After searching thru out the mapps selection, Not one about the WEST, COWBOY, WRANGLER, RANCHING.  I just wanted to know!  If  the cowboy, and what it means, and who came out west , trailing ol'e maingy ol cows and steers so that food  and commerce could be had!  UP IN THE WESTERN STATES still had a place in anybody's heart?   I may be old fashioned, but this ol cowboy will never forget!
