JUST FINISHED READING CAPTIVATING 1/10/2010

Back in November of 2009, my sister told me about the book "Captivating", and Wild at Heart..She sent the book to my son Asher, for a Christmas gift..WOW ...I saw a change in him as he read "Wild At Heart, and I was very much wanting to own the "Captivating" book for my slef.
I first took it out of the libiary..The only thing about taking the book out of the libiary, is that you can not write in the book..I began the book,taking notes..I took 9 pages of notes on the first half of the book..I came eye to eye with a past that was very close to Stasi' Eldredge...I can not tell you how many times I cried through that half..
Then I started the Romanced section in chapter 7...Desperatly wanting to hear from GOD ..THEN HE SPOKE TO ME ..these words came off the page:

YOU are the one who takes HIS breath away by your beautiful heart that, against all odds, hopes in HIM...

GOD was speaking directly to me in that line...I highlighted my notes and put the date HE spoke 12/28/09..I CRIED!

Stasi and John did not know that the King and I was my all time favoriate love story...and when it came to the last pages of the now owned book, I could make my marks in red pen and yellow highlighter....

I took 9 pages of notes in the Romanced section before recieving my book in the mail...

I have to tell you this, after reading this Captivating book, I longed for GOD more..I never looked at him as a lover, or as a romancer..I was not taught to look at GOD that way...a father figure...no more..I began to want more, I started to ask GOD to dance with me..for three nights in a row I asked GOD to dance with me in my dreams..My dreams WERE NOT dancing with GOD ..they were odd dreams...Each morning I woke, and had not danced with GOD, I was very discouraged...I stopped asking...Why did not GOD answer my request? Was it because I was asking HIM ?? Ladies do not ask the man to dance....

Then, today, 1/10/2010, I began to read on page 217 TAKE MY HAND...GOD SPOKE TO ME AGAIN .....

( Im crying again as I write this for you)

JESUS IS EXTENDING HIS HAND TO YOU. HE IS INVITING YOU TO DANCE WITH HIM. HE ASKS, "MAY I HAVE THIS DANCE .. EVERY DAY OF YOUR LIFE..His gaze is fixed on you. He is captivated by your beauty. He is smiling . He cares nothing of the opinion of others. He is standing. HE WILL LEAD..He awaits for your response..

YES LORD , YOU MAY HAVE THIS DANCE....

Thank you LORD for showing yourself to me, and thank you for dancing with me

I plan to continue the Dance with the Lover of my soul...
