Friends aren't friends forever

Second time around.

I posted this and it went and went and went and never posted.

I have lived a number of places and have gathered friends, not acquaintances, in all of them.
Friend maintenance is a problem when your friends are scattered all over. Fortunately, the internet, facebook, unlimited phone minutes make that easier, but time crunch and business make it so hard.
Friends aren't friends forever if we don't commit to them and keep in contact with them.
How am I going to do this. I'm thinking rotational maintenance. A few every week. The other option is culling the herd of friends. I'm going to try rotational maintenance.

These practical life strategies are just something I have to think of with a wife with cancer and a full time job. So on with the quest.
