Badlands of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, ND

This is one of the most desolate places I’ve been to in all my years of traveling but also has some of the most striking landscapes. Unfortunately the weather isn’t cooperating so any photos I’ve taken will not do these lands justice.

Badlands

Wild Horses

As beautiful as it is I wouldn’t want to live here. Then again not many do want to live here. There are only 116 people in the town of Medora and they probably all work at the park. Ah, but what a view to wake up to everyday.

Wild Flowers

Maltise Cross Cabin

In wilderness I sense the miracle of life, and behind it our scientific accomplishments fade to trivia.
