Tell us about your self (optional): Married to a wonderful wife of 26 years. We have 5 great kids, Dustin 24, Ashley 21, Danielle 16, Lindsay 13, and Ethan 12. My wife and I work together in direct marketing. We have done prison ministry, biker ministry and of course an array of positions in the local church. We are somewhat discouraged right now regarding the local church. We can't seem to find one where we really fit in. We are originally from WNY (south of Buffalo, near PA border).

Just checking back with you about your comment to the discussion. I think we are all feeling like you do. It seems that life has caught us so busy that the things that should mean more don't and the things that shouldn't do take up most of our time. As Paul said,"Thanks be to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." Jesus is still our Savior Tim. Draw close to Him who Loves you and your family more than any one, He is not far from you, even right now. AS for that perfect church...guess what, there isn't one. I don't know the circumstances of your church, but don't loose Hope. Pray and the Lord Jesus will take over in the "Find the right church" department. Who knows, maybe a home church or cell group may help you, I don't know what the Lord has in mind for you, but, you sound like your on the right trail brother. I will be praying the Lord will take you by the hand and lead you where He wants you to go and what He wants you to do. "Trust the Lord with your whole Heart, your whole soul and your whole mind Tim. Lean not to your own understanding(down in the dumps thinking) and commit your ways to the Lord again, and He will be faithful to lead you down the right paths you should go!"
