Tell us about your self (optional): I have been married to the most patient woman for 22 years. We have had 7 children, and as my oldest is getting married next year, I have finally let God teach me to be the man, husband and father he has always wanted to be.
What it took to get me to this point was God had to get to the darkest places in my heart and shine his light of grace.
After having been churched for 43 years I am letting God into all the places of my heart...I believe I am finally waking up.

Solid Ground or Sinking Sand? (From pigsNpearls-Blog)

Why do we always stop to calculate the risks if we are asked to do something righteous and holy, but end up jumping in head first if it is something questionable and even sinful? How easily moved are we if a friend, or sometimes even a complete stranger, pressures us out of following our heart and convinces us to “listen to reason” instead.
