I've just gotta be a friend of Kermit. He has so many connections... so many friends in high places... You are Kermit aren't you? Mike Wilson is just the name you check in hotels under?
I just watched Day of Wrath and Ordet. They are both awesome, but Day of Wrath was a bit easier to interpret. I'm still scratching my head over the intent of Ordet. It was very well made and acted, but several possible intents come to mind...not that it has to be pigeonholed. As far as seeing paint dry...after the pacing of Day of Wrath, Ordet seemed like Bourne Identity. But, Dreyer managed to keep Wrath very intriguing, even with it's crawling speed.

Hey, thanks for the kind words. I haven't dived too much into older stuff yet...not that I haven't wanted to, but there's just so much stuff to catch up on. Lately, I've been watching David Lynch and Paul Thomas Anderson. But, I subscribe to Blockbuster Total Access online now, and there is way more stuff to choose from than in any store by far...obscure titles included. So, the quest will continue, and I'll definitely check out Ordet. Thanks for the recommendation.
