Salinas is Central Coast California - just inland from Monterey Peninsula - cool climate, clear air, known as the salad bowl of the world because we grow so much lettuce here.

Hey, nice photos of the bikes. Harvest is happening down here, I live at the bottom of Australia near Melbourne, our state capital, in a tiny town of Nullawarre, we are cutting silage and been busy with calving.

Hi David,
Trust you're well, bro.
More and more I'm finding I'm in the midst of a battle in which I've already been ravaged by the enemy. I think your book The Unseen War sounds like something I need to read.
Does your book not only address how to win the fight for life, but reclaim the ground the enemy has captured from me?
Look forward to hearing from you,

No I'm not in the pics, sometimes that's the disadvantage of photographing. I'll look for the book next time I'm able to free up some cash; anything to advance the Kingdom of God and especially if it will add to the dream that I have. Thanks for responding to me so quickly.

Pessimistic Optimism

It’s interesting how people read into what you say (or in my case, write). With the recent release of my book, The Unseen War, Winning the Fight for Life, I’ve discovered that it is often what is not said that speaks louder than what is said.

I have been very encouraged with the responses that the book has received in the last six weeks since it was released. I have heard stories of it offering hope, clarity of the battle and even of lives being changed. I have received messages from ind… Continue

Ignorance is Bliss?

I don’t know about you, but it sure does seem to me that this Victorious Christian Life is not as victorious as I would like. And in fact, sometimes it seems more like death than life. Which tends to leave me wondering then, is it even Christian? I mean, the Apostle John assures me that ‘the one who is in [me] is greater than the one who is in the world’ (1 John 4:4). So why is it that the one in the world seems to have so much success in causing such turmoil?

Now my tendency in t… Continue

In The Name of The King

My 15 year old son Caleb was watching this movie we had rented the other night when I heard him holler at me, ‘Dad, you’ve got to see this movie, you will love it.’ Caleb knows of my love for epic battle and great adventure, and so the next night I watched In the Name of the King, A Dungeon Siege Tale. Wow, he was right, I loved it! Not so much for the action, although that was good, but rather for the story.

It is the story of Farmer (played by Jason Statham). Farmer is … a farme… Continue
