Whether you get a bike or not is up to you, brother. Unlike the battle we face, it is an optional extra! But FYI it need not be expensive: I bought my bike for £50 from ebay. I have added a few things to it since, but it has certainly cost me a fraction of what some people pay.
I did. Read Wild at Heart years ago but it didn't resonate then. Started with Desire a few weeks back and it rocked my world. In a very good way. Been reading through several of Eldredge's books since. Feel like the fog that has been covering my Christian walk for years has just burned off. Weird. But exciting.
