I begged God today.

I begged that He would deliver me from myself. I have for the longest time been unable to look in the mirror and recognize myself. Lost in this whirlpool of confusion and emotion I am constantly tossed about, unable to grasp any solid piece of reality. I cannot recognize my own face. Far too often I am told, by the most pious of course, to pray. They say pray and God will hear you and deliver you! I must confess: I've prayed once this month. In every way I always try to step outside of the box and take a full panoramic of what's going on around me. It would seem the more I see and the more I learn, the less I actually know. Perhaps it is a curse, that all men should be blind, but I know that through constant struggle and fortitude, one may ascertain that sight if he only reach deep enough to find Jesus. I often use these blogs like great wellsprings for my thoughts. Perhaps they are a conduit for that quiet language that issues from the heart in melodious grace.
