Hey Andrea--great questions! I'm honestly not sure I have found the answers to them myself. In general, I think that we're all on the journey to live our lives fully for God...to be fully abandoned in every way, so that knowing, loving and following Christ becomes all that we need or desire in this life (Psalm 73--"Besides You I desire nothing on this earth"). But of course, few of us are there yet. We've all got our personal lists of things we think we need in addition to Christ to order to "okay" with ourselves and with our lives. I suppose I'm just in the process of recognizing and letting go of a few big things on my list. I'm sure there are many others that God (in his mercy) has yet to point out to me.
Hey Andrea--thanks for the comment! In answer to your question, I wish I could say yes! But unfortunately none of my books have been translated into Spanish--yet. I am hoping that will happen eventually, though.
Thanks for the kind words about the pictures...way back when a photographer told me to take my camera where ever I go b/c you never know when a great picture appear...China was amazing ,we took HighSchool kids to play basketball and tour China, a trip of a lifetime...it looks like you where at crooked creek..how cool
Well, it's a long painful story but I was just hanging around in Spain got involved or was involved in the lifestyle that brought me to my knees and eventually, to Christ and community. The alcohol, drugs, and it was Spain right after Francos death so I was with other folks on that downward spiral. Anyways, in NYC I am OK now. I have health issues from all the years of drugs but I've been clean for 12 and 1/2 years. And the mirac le of God is that I lead worship in a fairly big church here, where everone knows my story of redemption and loves me, well maybe not everyone. So that's the scoop. Tell me about yourself.Oh by the way reading John E. books has reaally touched me because my journey to God is different than most peoples and he just reaches me in a way that seems very real. William
