What is Phalanx ?

Phalanx is an army of well trained soldiers standing shoulder to shoulder. With shields over lapped defending each other. Taking their stand against the enemy.

One day I was pondering Knighthood and mens sons. God revieled to me, how can a man raise his son to be a knight if he is't one? And how can he pass his sword if he doesn't know how to use it? The sword being God's word.

From The Kingdom of Heaven " Who do you think you are? Will you alter the world?
Do you think making a man a Knight makes him a better fighter?

YES !

Daniel, hello brother.I am on a personal mission of holiness right now, to distance myself futrher away from the things of this world and the very appearance of evil that the Bible talks aboput in i believ 1Thess. somewhere!I have had enough of losing the war to the flessh and want to walk in the Spirit at all times if possible.I have recognized certain areas in my life that the enemy was using to stronghold me and keep me from going forward to the next level in my relationship with Jesus Christ.I am aware of the distractiions set before me to get my eyes off the prize.I want to be in service to the King of Kings more than ever before and can only do that by keeping guard against flesh and my pride. I want to be busy doing His work when He comes, not just being busy with the cares of this life! Be blessed and try to stay outta the heat!!

I like what Virginia wrote: "What pains will they know when their eyes are opened and they realize the bridge behind them is burned." Which"beast" close the eyes from these people. (evolutionary) humanism? what do you think? #

Hey all,
what is going on out there? I have been so tired at night. Been welding for the last 2 weeks in 90+ degree weather. Kind of wearing me out. I wish it would snow. Really. What is the Lord doing out there? Any mission trips or just a personal mission that you are on?

Everyone wants their share of happiness. The American dream advocates it. But the struggle of marriage or relationships is just as great no matter who the other partner is. The struggle of life in general comes with both highs and lows. But quick are we to blame another and quick are we to run from the struggle especially when the low has been long endured. It is our weakness. It is what the Lord has warned us about and what the enemy depends upon. May God help those who have yet to see that they are casualties of an age old war. What pains will they know when their eyes are opened and they realize the bridge behind them is burned.

Nicholas said: Brothers, a word of encouragement: Don't stand down because you or others think you are not qualified to proclaim the gospel because of your past. If that were true, every person, meaning every sinner, could ever speak of fighting for the King. That's the power of His grace.

Indeed, we are qualified because of our past. Because I know the wounds that await one who chooses the wrong path, I am qualified to say, "Don't go that way..."

Hello Dan and fellow Knights,

My summer has been a blessed one as the Lord has sustained me through tremendous trial with the divorce of the couple I mentioned in my discussion post. I was blasted for encouraging them to stay strong and fight for the King, and each other. I was told that God approves of their divorce, even though the reason is nothing more than "incompatibility" as the wife put it. She, a Christian, and several other Christian family members also seemed to think it is OK to rewrite or amend the gospel. Worldly reasoning and a "everyone can choose what's right for themselves" attitude--that is where the battle is lost on so many. I lost there twice in previous marriages before the Lord opened my eyes and showed me that character is born of sacrifice and suffering.

Brothers, a word of encouragement: Don't stand down because you or others think you are not qualified to proclaim the gospel because of your past. If that were true, every person, meaning every sinner, could ever speak of fighting for the King. That's the power of His grace.

Two words: Battle on.

I have been out of it for a while. Really doing battle in the relm of purity.
So many things wanting me to slip away from god and my wife. I have been able to with stand so far. Could really use your prayers. Too much heat at work. I have been welding in 100+ comfort index all week.
I am sorry that I haven't been around much. Do not mean to let anyone down... At church this fall I am hopefull for a group study aroung the book
"Dream Giver". I for one like it alot.
Let's try to get something going here. How has your summer been so far ? What is our Father doing in your life?

For the heart of my King,
Daniel

Justin Comment by Justin on July 8, 2010 at 6:29am
Hello brothers and sisters. Thank you all for the prayers you have lifted up. I've had some stumbling blocks, but feel that God is getting me back on track. I actually leave later today on vacation with my parents to Alaska. I'm asking, once again, that you pray for me and my family. That God shows up and brings us closer and that I will find understanding of His purpose for me. God bless.
BATTLE ON!!! -(====>
