Have you been anointed as an artist?
I’ve been studying this artist guy found in the OT…Bezaleel (His name means “in the shadow of God” or in another words, under His protection).
"I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship. Exodus31:3
His handiwork was the Ark of the Covenant! (Exodus 37:1-9)
So, do you feel nointed as an artist? Shoule we be?

When I read this question I have to admit that I found it strange. I think its because I view creativity in whatever form that we express it as part of our DNA, our physical makeup, our personalities, all imparted at birth. Like you would never ask me if I was "anointed" to be a woman! I understand the anointing as something God gives to you after birth, a calling you can accept or reject. But with further thought, I suppose that you mean, do I feel anointed to share my art with the world in service to my Lover and God? In which case I would say that I don't know yet, I do it now for my personal transformation and worship to God. I haven't felt a pull to share it as ministry thus far, but knowing Jehovah, I'm sure I will in the future!

I have been praying for direction, but now I will pray for an anointing or for God to take away this desire in my heart.. Please pray for me too. Thanks, Dawn
