The vet says Bob is progressing and should be able to come home toward the end of this week. He'll be on restricted turnout for a while, as he heals.

For some reason the posts haven't been showing up on my page, so only just seen this about Bob. Will be praying for him to make a full recovery.

killed her husband too. I got to teach the class just before Paula's and of the 3 were at the lake today. One was ready to fall out of the saddle and went to bed early tonight.

Bob was moved to isolation on Tuesday night as he was having diarrhea and they worried about bacterial infection in the stomach. The bright side of him being moved was his mental condition as now he can see people, horses, cows etc and he is happy about that . He has had the tubes taken out of his neck andthey are giving him water every hour and even did a 5 minute walk outside to hand graze, all good stuff. They are trying to get his insides to jump start and function again. I will be talking to them tomorrow and will update again.
Had a fun field trip with our campers and counslors today, loaded up 3 horses and went to lake and took the horses swimming so all the kids got to ride the horses in the water and swimm, long exhausting day but good. Killed my girls group tonight on cantering, distances and inside / inside lines, but it was a good lesson. All in all a good day thank you Lord. Love you all

Sorry I haven't been around much lately.
coming up on 16 weeks of debilitating chronic pain
The exrays etc show a progression of disc damage that has my doctor concerned.
But I'm going to camp this next week to lead worship and I really believe that God is going to meet me there with healing.
I still have the horses but my husband has been doing everything - I need to get back out to the barn!

We have received a brief update on Bob. He is better today, but he's not out of the woods yet.

Please continue to pray for this wonderful horse as well as Paula and my hearts.

Jesus, Jesus, heal this big wonderful horse. Give Michael and Paula the assurance that no matter what--good times, bad times--you are there and you care. Let them run to You, dear Lord, and hide in the shelter of your love.

Yes, the vet told us that he has a small hole in the "netting" that suspends the intestines below the spine. A 6 inch length of small intestine was drawn through that hole, creating a blockage. It was easily reversed with surgery, but they were unable to stitch the hole, owing to its location.

We've not heard anything yet, today.

sorry about Bob, obviously my suggestion is only good for mild cases... he sounds very very ill..
