Thanks for bumping this group up to the present, Kyle.

Last month I attended the men's retreat that Randy Shelley's church puts on. This was my 2nd time with these men and this year's retreat was particularly good for my heart. Timely as well. All four of the men who tag-teamed the messages had been to a WAH Boot Camp and they allowed the WAH message be the spirit behind their words. Incidentally, these four men, along with Derek, are involved with getting the NY boot camp together for this fall.

I was recently at the Calling Intensive Event in February in Michigan. I was able to reconnect with several guys from the war room. Gary Barkalow has a very significant gift to give every man that attends one of these events through his ministry. I have to say it is the most significant 4 days I have ever spent.

I meet with a group of men every Tuesday night. Vern Hyndman and I facilitate the group which ranges from 6-10 men each night. We have seen some significant work of the Father in the lives of some of the men that attend.

I am so blessed by the opportuities the Father puts in my path.

Well, there have been a few, but it's been awhile. I had the opportunity to meet with several guys (separately) back in Feb 09 on my California vacation. Kelly, Fred, Farrell, and Jeff Lowery. I actually was blessed with personal time with Kelly, having 3 days with him and his wife.

I had some business travel (damn, was it REALLY in 2008?!?!) that permitted me time to meet with Jon (Knightwatch), Brian Stubbs (from Rhode Island), and Ashley Cobb between my hotel and his home about 90 minutes away.

The time, sadly, slips by too quickly when gathering (even 1-1) over a meal or a beer.

Kyle, I needed this today. Thanks.

Sacred Ground brings Sacred Memories and Sacred Memories give power to live well.
Many of my best memories involve being with you guys and with other men. A lot of them have to do with my wife also.

Just found this group and joined because I like where you meet!

I want add that gatherings of men, such as Moab 2009, are truly Father's gifts that keep on giving. More than the "afterglow" (LOL) that stays with you for a while when you go home - along with the ache that comes from having to say good-bye to your brothers - there is the fruit of healing that comes forth with time after such gatherings. Hard to explain but it's there. At least that's what I'm discovering in the month since Moab.

Randy Shelley, I hope to make the drive to see Kyle at your place and to get together again with you at the end of October.

Guys,
Kyle will be staying at my house the week after Memorial Day. Would love for some more guys to show up.
I am planning on going to Hearts Alive and Free in October 09 in Michigan and the last week end in October my wife will be away for the weekend and would like to have a group of guys at the house as we did last year.
I can't get enough of fellowship with the likes of the guys on this forum.
