In The Eyes Of An Adult
Today,my twin boys age 10 played their first basketball game today!The two play on opposite teams,but I had the opportunity to watch both games.It reminded me when I was their age,and how I was so excited to have some independence of my own on the basketball court.My kids lost their first game,but I was very proud to see them have fun on the court.I kissed both of them when their games were over,and I let them know how proud I was of the both of them.As I noticed both of their expressions on these little boys faces,they were more pleased with my exceptance of me being a proud dad.You know,I am proud to be their dad,and no matter if they win or lose,my love to the both of them is uncondtional.Always,try your best as a parent to be the role model they need in this world of today.Memories are the things that you hold on to that can never be erased!Thank You sons for being the gentle beings that you are becoming.My arms are wide open for you whether you win or lose!So can any dad in this group remember their child/childrens first game?Please share your story.
