Two months to go
Well brothers... it is just a bit over two months to go until our Southeast Band of Brothers retreat. We have a group of men already planning their life changing weekend. If you live withing 3 hours of Atlanta you should not miss this opportunity. I went to the spring session and it was in the top 5 things I have ever done in my life. Don't let life pass you by and not realize that you can be so much happier with your adventure! Hope to see you there, it is definately worth every penny!

Well, it is not my direct responsibility, but I do put a lot of effort into a non-denominational/non-church specific men's ministry in the Columbus, GA area. We study the John Elderidge "Wild at Heart" series once a month, we have men's breakfasts were we deliver similar messages. What my main focus is to reach out to every man possible, regardless if they are saved, or not, no boundaries on church affliation, or position in church. The idea being, we all fall short of the glory of God.
We have flyers that we give out and we have been announcing it at breakfasts all summer. A couple churches are putting it in their bulletins, some are doing announcements. Most of the time it has be acknowledged that a men's ministry goes laterally through a church congregation. Not many pastors fully get that. The ones that do, encourage such healthy events. If the man in your church gets right with God, he is better for your church. Also, to go to bandofbrothersweekend.org and contact some of the men on there. We had people from Florida, Tennesee, Lousiana and all over.
