'I am looking for a community of folks who are "doing" ransomed heart ministry and open to re-locating in order to be a part of what God is doing with others who have a passion for the message of this ministry. Please let me know about who you are, where you are and your ministry. I am a Christian counselor and really want to give my time and resources to the ministry.'.

I've also wanted to have a community of people that are into the ransomed heart message. But I haven't found any in this city of 100,000 plus people. I'm sure they might be out there but I think I'm going to have to start my own. It would have been so much easier if one already existed. In fact one did but I was apperantly too late because I think they guy might have cancelled his group. I tried calling him but no answer or returned phone call. I'm a bit intimidated creating a group but I'm also really excited about it. The way Ransomed Heart Ministeries has shed like on christianity and on reality and the truth of the human heart has left a huge everlasting mark on me. I just want to be a part of a community that is excited about it as me. I also want to introduce people to the Ransomed Heart message.

I truly believe that this message is the biggest thing to hit the church since Jesus Christ came two thousdand years ago.

But a fog has settled and the message of Christ has been hugely misunderstood for nearly two millenia. It's time to give people a better understanding of What God is really like.

In my view the church's is largely message is largely falling on deaf ears. When Jesus was around countless numbers of people begged to see him. It is not so in todays church. At least in the western world.

Totally agree with you.  I lead a mens group and we are going through Wild at Heart.  When we were trying to figure out what book or book of the Bible to do, I suggested Wild at Heart.  Well, one person was unsure about it and the other wanted to wait and do it later.  Me and the fourth guy in the group wanted to do this book.  Well, after spending time in prayer, I decided that we were going to go through Wild at Heart.  There were several issues with the group and I almost quit.  Almost.  After spending time in prayer, God told me, "Don't quit, don't give up on them, they are almost there.  Keep fighting!"  Well, they are getting it.  We are are on chapter 8 (Battle to fight: the enemy) in Wild at Heart.  There has been healing of wounds, growth, understanding, and excitement.  But, there is more to be done.  We plan on spending 3-4 weeks on Ch 8,  Ch 9, and video's on Warfare and a Battle to fight.  The hard part is not the healing of the wound but going to battle, knowing that the enemy is going to hit us in the wound, HARD, and to be able to keep going.  That's why it is so important to be sure that we are ready.

If the church, today, got a hold of the ransomed heart message, it would change the church.  And if the church got this message, then what would have in the world?

So are you in the Colorado area? My husband and I just visited the area around Colorado Springs and had no luck finding the RH ministry location. We were thinking about moving there but I really want to be in a community that values these teachings and felt that would be the best possibility but nothing was revealed while we were there.

I live in Lynnwood Washington (about 15 miles north of Seattle).   The mens group I lead is doing well.  We still have much to learn but I hope that it will be a step toward impacting my church (Lifepoint) with the Ransomed Heart message.

It is tough to find a community that values these teachings (from Ransomed Heart).  I have found the most Christians and churches like the message but don't want to hear it themselves or have it taught.   I had one guy say, "Well, that's great it works for you but it is not for us!"  Not sure why?  Maybe fear.  Maybe dealing with wounds in their lives that they don't want to deal with (ever)!

Isaiah 61:1 (NIV)

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.  He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,

One of my new favorite verses is this.  Could you imagine if Christians and the church today really got this verse.

First, proclaim good news to the poor.  What is the good news?  We know that the Bible is good news and that Jesus came to save us.  But is that all there is?  No, there's more.  Lets continue on:

  1. bind up the brokenhearted
  2. proclaim freedom for the captives
  3. release from darkness for the prisoners

What Christian would not want this?  What church would not want this?  I believe John 3:16

John 3:16 (NIV)

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

I feel that most Christians and churches it is all about John 3:16 and that's it.  Believe in Jesus, get eternal life, and be in heaven forever.

There is a line in the movie facing the Giants (great movie if you have not seen it).  Where, after one of the teams practices, one of the coaches says "If they get a hold of it, it will change their lives."   What would happen if the church today got this?
