Wochenend-Seminar: Fechten mit dem Langen Schwert 1
Einführung in die historischen Techniken des mittelalterlichen Schwertkampfes
24.-26.07.2009 in Münster (NRW)
Inhalt:
- Historische Hintergründe
- Schrittlehre, Mensurtraining
- Hutensystem, Grundhiebe und -Paraden
- Bewegungsprinzipien mit dem Langschwert
(Gewichtsverlagerungen, Rhythmus, etc.)
- Weiterführende Techniken
Für dieses Seminar sind keine Vorkenntnisse erforderlich.
Entscheidend im gerichtlichen Zweikampf des Mittelalters und Sinnbild für Hoheit, Würde und Macht ermöglicht das Schwertfechten heute die Erfahrung einer der faszinierendsten Facetten abendländischer Geschichte.
Das Seminar beginnt am Freitag mit einer lockeren Theoriestunde, welche die historische Entwicklung und die Waffen der Fechtgeschichte vorstellt. An den beiden folgenden Tagen gilt es dann in verschiedenen Übungen die Alte Fechtkunst des Mittelalters zu erkunden.
Auf der Grundlage allgemeiner Bewegungsprinzipien für den Schwertkampf, die bereits ins Aufwärmtraining einfließen, erlernt der Teilnehmer im ersten Kurs alle Grundhiebe und die dazugehörigen Paraden. Der Unterricht basiert auf historischen Vorlagen und beachtet moderne sportmedizinische Erkenntnisse, sodass eine gesundheitsförderliche Ausübung gewährleistet ist.
Hauptübungswaffe ist das Shinai - eine Bambuswaffe aus dem Kendo. Sie ist in der Handhabung dem Schwert sehr ähnlich und mit ihrem geringen Gewicht und der flexiblen Schlagkante eine optimale Übungswaffe für das Techniktraining. Wer bereits ein Langschwert besitzt, kann dieses natürlich für die ein oder andere Übung gerne mitbringen!
Zwischen den Übungseinheiten bieten kleine Kaffeepausen Gelegenheit für Fragen und auch Zeit, das Gelernte zu "verdauen". Am Abend trifft sich die Gruppe zum gemütlichen Ausklang des Tages im Restaurant - z.B. in Münster in der Mittelalterschenke "Fegefeuer".
Dauer: 1 Wochenende (ca. 16 h)
Kosten: 135,- Euro (Studenten 120,- Euro)
Höchst-Teilnehmerzahl: 10-16 Personen, je nach Veranstaltungsort (ab 16 Jahre)
